Prepare yourself for an unforgettable weekend courtesy of AMA Design. This Friday, April 25th, the Black Expo Design gets underway with a runway show, followed by a cocktail at 8 pm. We can expect to be awed and inspired by the original pieces presented by ethnic designers from around the world. The theme of this year’s fourth edition is Haiti-Uni, a dedication to the men, women and children who lost their lives in the devastating earthquake of 2010.
This weekend’s events will be hosted by TVA’s charismatic weather anchor, Nadège St-Philippe. Exhibitions, runway shows, cocktails and the after-parties will all take place at Loft Hotel, a chic Montreal landmark located at 314 Sherbrooke Street East.
While the main happenings on Friday and Saturday promise to thrill and entertain, Sunday will bring workshops, conferences, an exclusive designer sale and adorable children strutting the latest in a closing runway show.
A weekend pass with access to all three days and private events is only $95. Individual packages for Friday or Saturday include access to Sunday’s exclusive designer sale and runway show—that’s pretty good value for an event of this caliber. You can get your tickets here. Visit their Facebook page and become a part of the growing excitement.
